UHF Portable Yagi
Summary
While tracking an RFI source on local law interop channels, I realized that holding a Yagi by the boom is pretty awkward (especially while mobile). A quick coat of bed liner spray and about $25 in camera handles and mounts later, and now I’ve got a ruggedized 3-element UHF Yagi that’s easy to swing around, whether I’m hooked up to a radio or a spectrum analyzer.
