Summary

The old V2 box was clunky, and honestly, I barely used it because of its size. So, I decided it was time for an upgrade: a new, more compact box that’s easier to deploy and has everything I need neatly packed inside (no more separate bags!).

Inside the box, I keep a small green camo bag with CAT control, audio cables, and a CW key, all ready to go. The HF antenna is a basic, inexpensive CB telescopic whip that works well enough, plus I have a 15-foot radial in the camo bag for a quick ground plane setup. For UHF/VHF, I’m using a "tacticool" antenna I picked up at a swap meet. Don’t ask me what model it is—it just gets the job done!
